UPDATED: Seaford Juvenile Arrested for Milford Bomb Threat; Milford Police Investigate Bomb Threat at Milford High School & Central Academy Monday Morning
UPDATED – 11/04/25 –聽Milford Police Detectives have identified the email sender in Monday’s bomb threat that led to the evacuation of both Milford Central Academy and Milford High School as a 13 year old boy from Seaford who was not a Milford School District student.
An arrest warrant has been obtained and on Tuesday the boy was brought to Milford Police Department by a parent. He is charged with one count of Terroristic Threatening (Felony) and had a presentment through the Kent County Family Court and was released to their parent on a $1000 unsecured bond.
This incident remains under investigation.

ORIGINAL STORY – 11/03/25 – Milford High School and Central Academy were evacuated Monday morning after a report of a bomb threat. Milford Police and agency partners cleared the buildings to ensure their safety. The buildings were declared safe by police personnel. Police say the investigation is active and ongoing.
Milford School District officials say the threat was received in the general information address early Monday morning at Milford Central Academy. Police were notified and responded to the campus immediately to begin their investigation. The district followed it’s safety response plan and safety evacuated the students and notified parents and guardians and provided instructions for picking up their students. Police cleared the schools of any threat by 1pm and remaining students from the Central Academy and High School were relocated back to their schools.
Milford School District officials say normal operations will resume Tuesday. They thank the parents for their patience and understanding and staff and administration at the two schools for their quick response and hard work to ensure the students were safe, fed and cared for.聽 They also thank Milford Police and Agency Partners for their service and swift response who will also continue with a full investigation into the threat.
