Millsboro man wanted after police say he stabbed his wife

Delaware State Police are searching for a 30-year-old Millsboro man wanted in connection with a domestic related assault where he allegedly stabbed his wife.

According to the Delaware State Police Department, the incident occurred just before 10 p.m., Saturday, as troopers were called to a home on Iron Branch Road in Millsboro, for reports of a domestic related stabbing.

Police say 30-year-old Exequiel Osorto-Garcia was involved in an argument with his wife at the time of the incident when he grabbed a box-cutter and stabbed her in the abdomen.

Osorto-Garcia fled the scene prior to the arrival of police and has not been located.

The entire incident took place in the presence of their two children who were not injured, according to police. The woman was treated and released from an area hospital with a minor laceration.

Osorto-Garcia currently has active warrants for 2nd Degree Assault, Possession of a Deadly Weapon during the Commission of a Felony, and 2 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He is described as a Hispanic male, 5’3″-5’4″ tall, weighing around 140-150 lbs. No photo is available at this time.
