Millsboro Teen Cited after Harbeson Crash

A woman from Lewes was injured in a crash last night at Routes 5 and 9. Delaware State Police tell WGMD that just after 7pm Sunday an SUV and Taurus were approaching the intersection on Route 9 when the 17 year old from Millsboro driving the Taurus accelerated to make a left turn and collided with the SUV. The driver of the SUV, a 50 year old woman from Lewes was taken to Beebe Medical Center with minor injuries. The teen was not injured, but was cited for failure to yield when making a left turn.
