Milton Area Man Injured in Home Invasion Robbery

A home invasion Sunday night around 10:30 near Milton is under investigation by Delaware State Police. Police learned that three unknown black men all armed with handguns went into a home on Milton Ellendale Highway through a rear door and went into a bedroom where a 73 year old man was sleeping. The suspects began demanding money and assaulted the victim – striking him with handguns. The suspects ransacked the kitchen and found a small amount of cash and a laptop computer before they left. The victim was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333.
