Milton Man Arrested after Investigation into Sexual Offenses

Lewes Police have arrested a Milton man after a month-long investigation into alleged sex offenses against a juvenile female. Police were notified by the Division of Family Services and assisted by forensic interviewers from the Children’s Advocacy Center. Police arrested 50 year old Kevin Boyer of Milton, who lived in Lewes at the time the crimes were committed ā between 2016 and 2021. The victim was between the ages of 7 and 12 and resided in the same residence.
Boyer faces multiple offenses:
- Sexual Abuse of a Child by a Person in a Position of Trust 1st Degree (a Class A Felony)
- Continuous Sexual Abuse of a ChildĀ (a Class B Felony)Ā
- Unlawful Sexual Conduct against a Child by a Sex OffenderĀ (a Class B Felony)
- Sexual Abuse of a Child by a Person in a Position of Trust 2nd DegreeĀ (a Class D Felony)Ā Ā
- Attempt to Commit Sexual Abuse of a Child by a Person in a position of Trust 2nd Degree (a Class D Felony)
- Endangering the Welfare of a ChildĀ (a Class G Felony)
Boyer was arraigned by the State of Delaware Justice of the Peace Court #2 and committed to the Department of Corrections in default of $242,000 bail.
