The body of a Salisbury man who went missing earlier this week has been recovered in a stream near Easton, Pennsylvania.

According to Lehigh Valley Live, a local news website in east central Pennsylvania, officials recovered the body of 34-year-old James Brittain of Salisbury, Maryland on Wednesday.

The Salisbury Police Department had reported Brittain missing. His vehicle later turned up unoccupied in the Easton, PA area on Monday. A 9-1-1 call on Wednesday reported a body in a waterway. The Northampton County, Pennsylvania coroner later identified the body as that of Brittain.

An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death.
