Mobile Home Fire in Dorchester County Under Investigation


A family in Dorchester County is being assisted by the American Red Cross after a fire broke out today at their one story, mobile home on Corkran Street, in Hurlock. According to the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal, the blaze caused an estimated $15,000 in damage. An occupant discovered the fire, which began on the outside of the home near trash cans. The blaze then extended into the home. No one was injured. The cause remains under investigation.聽
