A scheduled Sunday launch for NASA’s TOMEX+ sounding rocket mission from the Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia has been rescheduled to Monday night. Cloud cover and high seas in the recovery area caused the reschedule.

Monday’s launch is now set for between 10pm and 3am.聽 According to NASA, TOMEX+ – Turbulent Oxygen Mixing Experiment Plus – will investigate the mesopause – one of Earth’s most turbulent atmospheric regions. It’s the coldest layer of our atmosphere – where noctilucent clouds form – and the theoretical boundary where Earth’s atmosphere transitions to outer space.

A Rocket Lab suborbital launch Sunday from Wallops Island has been reset to TBD for the JAKE 4 Mission. This is a “government/top secret” mission type.聽聽
