New Security Policies at Wicomico Youth & Civic Center begin Friday

If you go to the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center in Salisbury for an event – expect new security policies beginning on Friday.  Entry screenings, bag checks, and a new bag size limit are being implanted for public safety and Civic Center officials say that will include metal detectors, hand wands and bag checks before entry – pat-down searches are also a possibility.  If your bag is larger than 13” by 13” by 13” – it will not be permitted in the building – however diaper bags during family events will be allowed – ad they will be searched.   With the new security measures – you should arrive about 30 minutes before the event times.
