Maryland State Police and the Salisbury Police Department says they have arrested more than three dozen people, including nearly a dozen gang members as part of their multi-state effort to reduce the amount of active fugitive warrants known as “Operation Hide and Seek.”

The MSP Gang Enforcement Unit partnered with allied law enforcement agencies in Maryland, Delaware and Virginia to locate and apprehend suspects who had open arrest warrants issued through the Salisbury Police Department.

Among those arrested were 28-year-old Xaundrea Mclean of Salisbury, 34-year-old Matthew Wekheiser of Salisbury, 22-year-old Michael Schiller of Snow Hill, 39-year-old Wood Pierre of Seaford, 45-year-old Larissa Diggs of Salisbury, 19-year-old Nykeria Reaves of Salisbury, 40-year-old Gina Miller of Bishopville, 27-year-old Sinedra Purnell of Salisbury, 18-year-old Terius Green of Salisbury, 53-year-old Darryl Miles of Salisbury and two juvenile males.

Authorities say the suspects were wanted on carrying charges including assault, robbery and drug charges. At least one of the suspects was a validated member of the Loyal Money Family Bloods gang.

MSP says the investigation was made possible through funds provided by the Governor’s Office of Crime Control and Prevention.
