Overnight Route 90 Closure Planned for Wednesday Night to Thursday Morning

Drivers who use Route 90 into Ocean City – there will again be a road closure Wednesday beginning at 7pm until 5am Thursday morning – weather permitting. Maryland Transportation officials tell the Talk of Delmarva that crews were not able to complete the repair work in April as additional work was located. 

This closure Wednesday night pertains to the entire 12-mile long roadway and should allow the remaining work to be completed.  During the work period, motorists will be directed to continue to US 50 to downtown Ocean City to Coastal Highway. Drivers should add approximately 30 minutes to their commute during the maintenance work.
