Atlantic General Hospital and Health System is paying it forward, sending $30,000 worth of medical supplies to Ukraine to help health care professionals there care for wounded civilians and soldiers.
Many supplies, including hand sanitizer and hand-made masks, had previously been contributed to AGH and its front-line workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Locally-gathered isolation gowns and coveralls, gloves, masks, body bags, face shields and wipes will soon be bound for Ukraine. The owner of Berlin Sconer Bakery, Ryan Nellans, organized the effort in conjunction with the Atlantic General Hospital Foundation.
