UPDATED: DSP Identify Pedestrian Struck in Long Neck Parking Lot

UPDATED 11/11/22 – 10am – Delaware State Police have identified the victim who died in a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred on November 8 at the Nanticoke Crossing parking lot as 82 year old James Crowl of Lewes.

A Lewes man is dead after he was struck in the parking lot at Nanticoke Crossing in Long Neck. Delaware State police say the 82 year old man was pushing a shopping cart through the parking lot and was struck by a Toyota, driven by an 85 year old Millsboro man who failed to see the pedestrian. The victim was taken to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the Toyota was not injured. Police ask anyone who witnessed this crash to contact Sergeant J.
