Pittsville Woman Sentenced for Embezzling

A Pittsville woman has been sentenced for theft. Wicomico County Judge S. James Sarbanes has sentenced 37 year old Christina Carrier to 10 year in prison with all but one year suspended and placed her on five years of probation. Carrier pleaded guilty of theft over $100,000. She was a CPA and it was found that she embezzled over $100,000 from her employer, Sherwood of Salisbury. Before sentencing she made Sherwood whole.
