Pole Barn Fire in Salisbury; Cause Under Investigation

A fire that occurred at a 50×80 pole barn on Riverside Drive Ext, in Salisbury this morning before 10:00 caused an estimated $80,000 in structural damage, according to the Maryland Office of the State Fire Marshal. The blaze started in the Pole Barn Interior. The cause is under investigation. No injuries were reported. 65 firefighters battled the blaze for two hours before bringing it under control.
