Police searching for armed robber in West Ocean City

An armed robbery in Worcester County and now police are scouring the area for the suspect. Worcester County Sheriff’s Office says a liquor store in West Ocean City was held up Thursday morning by a man with a butcher knife. The robber got took cash from the register and ran off. The suspect is described as a black man about 6 feet tall, wearing a blue New Balance sweatshirt and gray bandana. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Worcester County Bureau of Investigation.
