Princess Anne Man Sentenced After Pleading Guilty to Possession With Intent to Distribute Cocaine and Reckless Endangerment


A 40-year-old Princess Anne, Maryland man has been sentenced to eight years in prison after pleading guilty to possession with intent to distribute cocaine and reckless endangerment. Alvin Thompson was sentenced yesterday, April 1st, by Wicomico County Circuit Court Administrative Judge S. James Sarbanes. He must serve at least 50 percent of his sentence before becoming eligible for parole. On October 14th, 2022, Wicomico County deputies executed a search warrant at a residence following reports of suspicious activity. During the search, cocaine and drug paraphernalia were found in a 14-year-old鈥檚 bedroom, where investigators determined Thompson had been storing the substances, raising concerns about the child鈥檚 safety and welfare.
