Public Meetings on Indian River School District Referendum #2 Begin Wednesday
The second Indian River School District referendum is set for Thursday, June 5. This is a current expense referendum – and seeks funding for increased operating costs and to maintain a competitive salary package for staff. There will be three public meetings where district officials will give a presentation outlining the referendum initiative. The public is invited – and will have the chance to ask questions. The meetings:
- Wednesday, May 14 at Millsboro Middle School at 7pm
- Wednesday, May 21 at Lord Baltimore at 7pm
- Wednesday, May 28 at Indian River High School at 7pm
These meetings will be streamed on the IRSD YouTube channel as well and questions can be submitted during the broadcasts. Links to the broadcasts will be posted on the district website at irsd.net on the morning of each meeting.
