Rehoboth Beach Man Hospitalized after Crash on Bay Vista Road Thursday Afternoon

Delaware State Police were called for a crash on Bay Vista Road in Rehoboth Beach just after 3 Thursday afternoon. Police say a Yamaha motorcycle was westbound at an apparent high rate of speed when the operator, an 18 year old Rehoboth Beach man, failed to negotiate the curve and overturned.
The motorcycle and rider slid into an unoccupied pickup truck parked on the grass shoulder on Bay Vista Road.
The operator was taken to an area hospital with critical injuries.
