UPDATED: Rehoboth Beach Police Identify & Charge Suspects in Alleged Theft of 2 Scooters

UPDATED – 07/21/25 – Rehoboth Beach Police have identified the suspects who allegedly stole two electric scooters.  Police thank you for your help to resolve this case.  

The suspects, aged 15 and 17, are both from Seaford and have been charged with 2 counts of theft under $1500 and 3rd degree conspiracy.  Both have been released to the custody of a guardian.

ORIGINAL STORY – 07/19/25 – Rehoboth Beach Police need your help to identify two suspects who allegedly stole two electric scooters in the 400 block of Rehoboth Avenue. The two are also accused of taking cash from a tip jar at a business on the ocean block of the Avenue. Both are described as between the ages of 14 to 16 – one is black – the other white.
