One New Castle County lawmaker wants more transparency in the General Assembly and is introducing legislation that will call for audio and live video streaming of ALL General Assembly proceedings – House and Senate floor action and committee meetings.  And that all content be archived and accessible on the internet.  Representative Mike Smith says most of the General Assembly business is done mid-week – when most Delawareans can’t travel to Dover or listen to live streams.  Smith’s resolution directs the Division of Research, Office of Management and Budget and the State’s ID Department to create a detailed plan to implement General Assembly streaming and archiving.
