Resolution Passes State Senate to Designate May as Small Business Month in DE

A resolution has passed in the State Senate that designates May of 2025 as Small Business Month in the State of Delaware. Senate Concurrent Resolution 64 is sponsored by Senator Dave Wilson and says that Delaware’s small business community makes significant contributions to the state’s economy and workforce. There are over 28,600 small businesses that call Delaware home – about 98% of all businesses in the state. In fiscal year 2024, small businesses generated over $14-billion in wages and employed over 241,000 Delawareans.

SCR 64 is waiting for consideration in the State House.
