UPDATE: Building Fire in Salisbury Leaves Three Occupants Displaced

UPDATED 12/28/23–11:40 a.m. –The Talk of Delmarva has learned that the building fire that occurred early this morning on East Philadelphia Avenue in Salisbury has left three occupants displaced. The American Red Cross is assisting them. The blaze occurred about 5 a.m. and took about 20 minutes for crews to get it under control. There were no injuries or deaths. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Shawn Yonker who is the Communications Director at the Mayor’s Office in Salisbury tells the Talk of Delmarva the building was a rental home.
