A Salisbury man has been sentenced on drug charges.  Earlier this month, 37 year old Johnathan Lewis was convicted of possession of heroin with the intent to distribute after an arrest in July of 2017 when he and another man led police on a high-speed chase.  The two fled from a DUI checkpoint and during the chase tossed items from their vehicle – later identified as baggies of heroin, cocaine and marijuana.  Lewis was on probation at the time of his arrest and has been sentenced to 20 years in prison on the new conviction – and the violation of probation.
