Salisbury Police Department Seeks New Certification

The Salisbury Police Department is trying to get a new certification from a national group– The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies or CALEA, which sets standards for best practices from departments around the country. Salisbury has received that accreditation for the last 11 years. Salisbury Police Department Sergeant Mike Loring says the recognition gives residents a chance to weigh in about the good—and bad—in the department.
