An early morning fire in Salisbury heavily damaged a home and left two residents without a place to sleep.  The call came in just before 4am on Truitt Street after the occupants were awakened by the smoke alarm – they escaped safely.  Maryland Fire Marshal investigators say the fire began in a first floor bedroom – the cause remains under investigation.  The residents are being helped by the American Red Cross.  Damage is estimated at $100,000.
