School Bus Driver Charged With Patronizing Prostitute
Dover Police have arrested a 62-year-old Dover man on charges of patronizing a prostitute earlier this month. While a local school district employee was reviewing video while investigating an unrelated incident on a school bus, the employee discovered footage showing the driver–Alvin Rohm– picking up a female in the area of Governors Avenue at Loockerman Street, then proceeding to Jerusalem Way. Once parked in the area of Jerusalem Way, Rohm was shown engaging in sexual activity with the female in exchange for payment. Rohm is not employed by a school district and was employed by a contracted bus service. The video was turned over to Dover Police where an investigation led to Rohm being arrested and charged with Patronizing a Prostitute within 1000 feet of School, Resident, Church or Place as well as Lewdness. Rohm was arrested on January 12th without incident and released on an O.R. bond.
