Seaford home shot 9 times, police investigating

Delaware State Police are investigating after a home was shot 9 times in Seaford.

According to the Delaware State Police Department, the incident occurred just after 12 a.m., Thursday as troopers responded to a residence in the 23000 block of West Middlecord Circle in Seaford, for reports of shots fired.

Police arrived and learned that someone had fired multiple rounds at the residence.

The residence was occupied at this time by six individuals ranging in ages from 11 to 51.

Further investigation revealed that the exterior of the residence was struck nine times.

One bullet entered the home and was located in a bathroom, according to police. There were no reports of injuries.
