Delaware State Police have arrested a Seaford man after he was found by Selbyville Ambulance personnel unconscious in a car that was parked on West McCabe Street in Selbyville.  When police contacted the operator, 41 year old Michael Smith of Seaford, they smelled a strong odor of alcohol – the vehicle had a flat tire and a damaged front headlight – but Smith didn’t know how the damage occurred.  During the DUI investigation police found a loaded .38 caliber handgun in the vehicle, which Smith was not allowed to own.  Smith is charged with a variety of weapons, DUI and other offenses.
