Seaford Man Charged after Assaulting EMT

A Seaford man has been arrested after he assaulted a Blades Fire Company EMT on Wednesday night. Delaware State Police were called for a combative person in an ambulance on Serenity Circle in Seaford just before 11pm. When police arrived, they learned the 37 year old Nathan Ennels was being treated in the ambulance when he punched an EMT in the face – damaging their glasses. Ennels was taken to an area hospital – the EMT suffered minor injuries. Ennels was released from the hospital Thursday and charged with the following:
- Assault 2nd – Injuring an EMT (Felony)
- Criminal Mischief under $1,000
Ennels is free on a $3000 unsecured bond.
