Senate Passes Housing, Supply Chains Legislation Authored by Senator Blunt Rochester

U.S. Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester celebrated the Senate’s passage of three bills she authored as part of the ROAD to Housing Act, as well as the bipartisan Streamlining American Manufacturing Strategy Act. Senator Blunt Rochester says the Senate’s passage of her housing and manufacturing bills marks progress on key priorities she’s heard from Delawareans—tackling housing affordability and improving manufacturing efficiency. She says she’ll continue working with the House to get the legislation signed into law.

The Road to Housing Act is a bipartisan housing package that aims to spur the development of housing across the nation and bring down costs. The bipartisan Streamlining American Manufacturing Strategy Act  would amend the National Institute of Standards and Technology Act to align the timelines for multiple advanced manufacturing initiatives to every four years on the same cycle.
