South Bethany Voters to Elect 3 to Town Council Saturday, May 10


Voters in South Bethany go to the polls on Saturday to elect 3 people to the town council. Each term is 2 years. There are five candidates running. Incumbents Christine Keefe (R) and Cindy Van Horn (R) are challenged by Russell Beland (R), Steven Gallagher (NR) and Mark Giler (NR). Current councilman Tim Shaw is not running for re-election.

At least 4 of the 7 members of the town council – including the Mayor – must be residents of the town, but all may be residents. Of the candidates running Gallagher and Giler are non-residents.

Polls are open Saturday from 9am to 3pm at Town Hall.
