State Treasurer Colleen Davis to Hold Town Hall in Milford on September 9th

Delaware Treasurer Colleen Davis will hold a town hall meeting on Tuesday, September 9th at 6:30 p.m. at the Milford Senior Center on 111 Park Avenue in Milford. This event will provide Delawareans the opportunity to receive updates on the Office of the State Treasurer’s priority initiatives as well as addressing the public’s concerns regarding the recently passed federal budget bill and other actions. She encourages Delawareans from not only the Milford area, but up and down the state to attend this town hall and make their voices heard. The town hall event is free and open to all interested Delawareans, with no advance registration required.

Treasurer Davis said. “In my role as the steward of the state’s money and a provider of avenues to financial empowerment, I’m constantly seeking opportunities to make my office more responsive and more helpful to the people of our state.”
In addition to taking live questions, Treasurer Davis will discuss the savings programs she has created and is administering across the state, provide insights on financial literacy, share the office’s current approach to implementing artificial intelligence, and comment on the risks of federal government cutbacks as well as how the state plans to mitigate them.
