Student Arrested After Loaded Handgun Found at Parkside High School

A school resource officer at Parkside High School in Salisbury has arrested 18-year-old student Devon Rinvil Thelusma after finding a loaded 9mm handgun and a small amount of suspected marijuana in his possession. The arrest was made today, September 3rd, at the school on Beaglin Park Drive. Thelusma was taken into custody and faces pending charges. The Wicomico County Sheriff鈥檚 Office says it is working with county schools to ensure safety, adding that there are no ongoing threats to students or staff.
