Summer Parking Season Arrives for Most Resort Towns on Friday, May 15th

Memorial Day weekend – the unofficial start of the summer – is fast approaching. While some resort towns have already begun paid parking – most every remaining beach town will put paid parking into effect on Friday, May 15^th. That includes Rehoboth Beach, Dewey Beach, South Bethany, Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island.

In Ocean City, where parking is largely free Monday through Thursday – that will change on Friday, May 22 when parking rates become daily and increase from $3.50/hour on just weekends to $4.50/hour 7 days a week until the end of September.
