Suspect Arrested For Murder On Eastern Shore


A suspect is facing charges of murder and other crimes following a shooting death in Cambridge.

Cambridge Police said officers on routine patrol on Greenwood Avenue Sunday afternoon heard gunshots in the area.
They spotted someone who was firing a weapon, and apprehended him after a foot pursuit. A male shooting victim was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds.

18-year-old Jihad Brown of Cambridge later died at University of Maryland Shock Trauma in Baltimore. A second person was also shot in the arm and was treated and released.

25-year-old Jai’Choaun Woolford of Easton is being held at the Dorchester County Detention Center with no bond for first- and second-degree murder and other charges.
