The Sussex County Government is set to host a public forum on housing issues in the coming weeks, work they say will ensure an affordable and accessible housing market for all.

County officials will host the public forum at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21 at the County Council Chambers located inside the County Administrative Office building at 2 The Circle in Georgetown. Specifically, the meeting is set to discuss the community’s transition, from it’s landscape and population to culture and amenities. Community members will be provided the opportunity to offer ideas, suggestions and perspective.

Earlier this year, the County Council selected consultant LSA to conduct a compressive study into the county’s housing opportunities and market. The study is expected to be finalized later this year.
