Mosquito Spraying Begins Today in Southern Sussex County

Mosquito spraying begins today on wooded wetlands near populated areas in southern Sussex County to treat mosquitoes’ immature aquatic larval stages.  The aerial spraying by helicopter of woodland pools has to be completed before the forest canopy fills in – which usually occurs in mid-April.  The treatment will be expanded statewide during the upcoming weeks.…
