Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 04/13/26
Sunday was another chilly day and there was not a whole lot of exciting fishing news.
Lewes Harbour Marina said a few boats fished the Outer Wall and they caught a few tog. Kyle Syler claims to have caught the first flounder, an 18.5 incher, from the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal and checked it in at Lewes Harbour Marina on April 4th. Flounder are still being caught from the Canal on minnows.
Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said there has been no change in the fishing at Indian River Inlet. Small stripers on plugs and bucktails early in the morning and tog on sand fleas during the day.
Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m reported a few tog were caught on boats fishing the ocean.
Dan at Dan鈥檚 Tackle told us a lady fishing at Slaughters Beach hooked a 30-pound striper on a piece of salted clam and had to release her fine catch.
