Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 04/14/26
Monday was warm, but windy with small craft advisories up on all open waters.
Lewes Harbour Marina said no boats ventured out on Monday due to the high winds.
Old Inlet Bait and Tackle was closed when I called just after 5:00 p.m. That was my fault. I got involved in tax preparation and it cost me all afternoon. I would guess a few tog were caught on sand fleas in spite of the wind. I mean if folks fished during the cold and windy days, I am sure a few were out on the sidewalk and rocks with the warm and windy weather.
The water temperature was 49.5 degrees at the Delaware Lightship Buoy on Monday. It is 50 degrees in Delaware Bay. If and when ever the wind stops blowing, I am sure some fine flounder, big tog and perhaps a few stripers will be caught.
