Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 04/24/26
Thursday saw reasonably good weather on the ocean and a few boats tried their luck.
Lewes Harbour Marina told us that the Katydid fished ocean structure and brought back 15 tog.
The only report of black drum from the surf came from DMS. Joe Griffith caught one from the beach at Cape Henlopen on Thursday morning. No bait was given, but my guess would be sand fleas.
Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said they had zero reports of black drum from the beach. They did however, have a report of a big striped bass caught and released on sand fleas fished from the beach at 3Rs Road. They also told me that hickory shad have finally arrived at Indian River Inlet.
Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m said a few private boats fished the ocean and caught a few tog.
