Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 05/02/25
Thursday was a good day from the Upper Bay to the Inlet.
Steve at Smith Bait reported black drum at the Coral Beds on Wednesday night with peeler or female crabs the top bait.
Dan at Dan鈥檚 Tackle said there were black drum caught at Broadkill Beach on peeler crab or clams. The east wind brought them in.
Lewes Harbour Marina told us a private boat ran to the Outer Wall and caught 13 tog on sand fleas and green crabs. They also saw two flounder caught on minnows from the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal.
Old Inlet Bait and Tackle reported the big stripers were back at the North Jetty on Thursday morning. They hit swimshads. Smaller stripers were caught from the South Jetty. There was a bluefish blitz at the inlet as well. Tog fishing remained good.
