Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 05/11/25

In the Inland Bays, flounder are biting strong in Indian River and Rehoboth Bays. Try drifting minnows or Gulp baits near channel edges. Bluefish are showing up around Indian River Inlet—metal spoons and bucktails are producing hits, especially during moving tides.

In the Delaware Bay, it’s prime time for drum fish—Black Drum are being caught near the Coral Beds and Broadkill Beach using clams or peeler crabs. Striped bass are still around, especially at night—try chunking bunker along the bay beaches.

Offshore, if you’re heading out, tog season just wrapped, but folks are reporting solid early-season action on sea bass and a few fluke on the wrecks.

Up north, the Brandywine and Christina Rivers are seeing white perch and catfish action, especially on bloodworms and cut bait.

This is Eric Burnley wishing everyone a happy mothers day for the Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report.
