Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 05/27/25


Monday was a beautiful holiday.

Lewes Harbour Marina told us the Katydid came back from ocean structure with sea bass and flounder. The Jay Sea II also had an excellent catch of sea bass. Black drum were caught from Delaware Bay on Sunday nite, but they didn鈥檛 have any details.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park reported spot and croaker on bloodworms during high tides. A few short flounder were also seen.

Gary Chorman took his two grandsons crabbing in Indian River Bay and they had four dozen after three hours work.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said blues come through the Inlet on incoming water and will hit metal lures. Stripers take drifted sand fleas at night. Blues have been caught on cut bait from the beach.

Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m said the Captain Bob had 50 sea bass on Monday
