Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 06/03/25
Monday wasn鈥檛 perfect, but compared to what we have been seeing it was a beautiful day. The remainder of the week looks just fine.
Lewes Harbour Marina had good reports from charter boats that fished ocean structure. I suspect the boats targeted flounder because the number of sea bass you have to wade through to find and keeper has become problematic.
The Katydid had 15 flounder and the Surface Tension brought in 11. Flounder fishing in the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal was very good with two 6-pound fish caught on Monday. Minnows and Gulp! were the most common flounder bait.
Old Inlet Bait and Tackle surprised us with their report. The only fish they heard of on Monday were sheepshead caught on sand fleas from Indian River Inlet.
Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m said one boat caught small blues off of Fenwick Island.
