Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 06/09/25
Sunday was cloudy and cool. Boats were able to fish the ocean and the Delaware Bay and fish were caught from both.
Ricky Rothenberger caught 38 croaker, one flounder and 15 crabs to put together a real seafood feast on Sunday.
Lewes Harbour Marina told us the Jay Sea II had a nice catch of sea bass on Sunday and went right back out on Sunday afternoon.
Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park told us they saw spot and croaker plus a few small striped bass caught during high water on Sunday. Bloodworms were the most popular bait along with FishBites and Gulp!
Hook 鈥榚m and Cook 鈥榚m weighed in a 299-pound thresher shark caught 4 miles east of Indian River Inlet. It was taken from the Salty Hook by the crew of Paul Plummer, Gene Bauerle and Danny Lorah.
