Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 06/11/25

Tuesday saw a dense fog advisory plus rain and possible thunderstorms. Not a forecast that encourages one to venture to far from shore.

Both Lewes Harbour Marina and Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said no boats left their docks on Tuesday.

Captain Brin at Fisherman’s Wharf reported on her weekend trips. On Saturday there was no drift and there were keeper and throw back flounder caught around the boat. Sunday the drift was much better and anglers caught keeper and throw back sea bass and flounder all day.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park told us fishing was good on Tuesday. Anglers caught good numbers of spot and croaker on bloodworms as well as a few flounder on minnows fished close to the pilings.
