Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 06/17/25

Monday did not see improved weather and both Lewes Harbour Marina and Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said no boats sailed for the ocean. Lewes Harbour Marina did report some smaller boats found success with summer flounder out of the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal. No baits were given, but I suspect bucktails with minnows, Gulp! or FishBites were some of those used.

Nick Garcia spent Father’s Day with his grandfather, flounder fishing in Delaware Bay. The rain and wind delayed their start until 9:30 and the crosswind made for a difficult drift during the incoming. They caught two keepers plus many shorts. There was a very slow drift on the incoming so Nick employed his trolling motor. That resulted in three keepers two of which two measured 22 inches.
