Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 06/17/26

Tuesday, we had a bit of a northeast breeze and very cool temperatures that felt refreshing at the beach. Wednesday is looking even better.

Dan at Dan’s Tackle said spot, croaker and small trout were caught at Broadkill Beach on bloodworms, Fishbites and squid.

Lewes Harbour Marina reported that the head boat returned from Delaware Bay with a nice catch of croaker. Private boats fished the Ice Breakers with sand fleas or green crabs and caught sheepshead.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park told us spot and croaker were caught on bloodworms and Fishbites. Short flounder were taken on minnows.

Hook ‘em and Cook ‘em said the Captain Bob had a decent catch of sea bass on her all-day trip. A private boat brought back bluefin tuna.
