Talk of Delmarva Fishing Report 06/26/25


Wednesday saw more hot weather and folks who could stand the heat caught some impressive fish.

Lewes Harbour Marina reported that the Katydid brought back 20 flounder from ocean structure. The Surface Tension ran a little further out in the ocean and brought in a good deal more meat. They had seven yellowfin tuna and two bluefins.

Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park told us the few anglers who braved the hot sun caught some spot and croaker plus short flounder.

Old Inlet Bait and Tackle said a few stripers were caught by the night shift on sand fleas and live eels.

Rick鈥檚 Bait and Tackle checked in an 8.2-pound flounder caught on ocean structure by Jeff Monaco.

Michel McGoey caught a 38-pound cobia from the ocean in sight of the Indian River Inlet bridge.
